Leon Jones Feed and Grain, Inc. operates tractor trailers in the chicken rendering business. We have different departments within our Truck Drivers division as well as a full repair shop for both trucks and trailers.

Our raw material department consists of CDL Class A drivers, hauling both end dump trailers as well as tankers. We pick up chicken by-products from processing plants all over North Georgia, and deliver them to the rendering plant in Cumming, Georgia. A driver’s responsibility would include tarping, dumping, dropping and hooking each load that is hauled from various processing plants. These drivers are home daily and paid by the load.

On the hoppers we haul feed and grain from the rendering plant to various feed mills and ports throughout the southeast. The fat tankers, haul a liquid fat that is also loaded at the rendering plant and delivered to feed mills throughout the southeast. These drivers typical are out between 2-5 days a week and are paid by the load.
